Glimpses of the Wonderful

The new Aquarium - the first stage in the Horniman's Evolution 2010 project - opened in July 2006. AngelfishAn inspiring series of living displays, including the British seashore, London pondlife, a Fijian reef and a South American rainforest, provide fascinating insights into life in and around the waters of our planet. Supported by key messages about biodiversity and sustainability, the Aquarium introduces visitors to the fragile nature of these aquatic habitats and man's effect on them.
