In Japan, as in many other cultures, textiles are used to wrap people and objects. They may protect, embellish, preserve modesty or express respect. In Japan, the art of wrapping is particularly accomplished and significant.

This exhibition opens 31 March, and will be held in the Balcony Gallery until 27 April 2008. Admission is FREE.
