Gift Aid

The Horniman has introduced a Gift Aid admission option for the Aquarium and Temporary Exhibitions. Under this scheme, visitors are offered a choice of two entry tickets:

• Gift Aid admission
• Standard admission

The Gift Aid day admission includes an additional voluntary donation. If you are a UK tax payer, Gift Aid admissions enable the Horniman to reclaim tax on the whole amount paid - an extra 25 per cent – to significantly boost the Horniman’s funds.

A 50p donation on each  £5 ticket will enable us to claim £1.38, providing an additional £1.88 towards Horniman funds

Money raised from this scheme goes towards supporting the Horniman’s work. Please note that you will be asked to pay the Gift Aid admission unless you request to pay the Standard admission, but if you prefer to pay the Standard admission please advise our reception staff at the till point.

We are also able to claim Gift Aid on Aquarium Annual Passes and exhibition Season Tickets.

* Gift Aid donations must be supported by a valid Gift Aid declaration and a Gift Aid declaration can only cover donations made by an individual for him/herself or for him/herself and members of his/her family.
