Our Project: A Landmark for London
The cost of redeveloping the Horniman Gardens is £2.3 million. Thanks to support from the National Lottery, through the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Big Lottery Fund, and a number of other generous donors, work has started and is well underway.
We have now raised over £900,000 towards our £1 million fundraising target we needed alongside the Lottery’s contribution - thank you. For a list of our key supporters, visit our Patrons and Supporters page.
But we still have to find £69,000 to fully fund this project. We would welcome support from charitable trusts and foundations, corporate sponsors, as well as individuals. There are opportunities to support specific parts of this wide-ranging project, as well as acknowledgement opportunities.
As part of our drive to raise the final funds we need, we launched a £50,000 appeal to give our own community a chance to support the redevelopment of this much-loved space. As we approach our goal, this is when your donation can make all the difference.
