Professor Paul Henderson CBE
Professor Paul Henderson CBE is an Honorary Professor in Mineralogy at University College London. Previously he was Director of Science at the Natural History Museum, London, where he had overall responsibility for the five scientific research and curatorial departments as well as for the library. He has also been a university lecturer at Glasgow and London universities, Keeper of Mineralogy at the Natural History Museum, President of the Mineralogical Society (1989-91) and Professor of Mineralogy (2003) at the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris (MNHN). He has served on several museum advisory boards including the Museum für Naturkunde, Berlin, and the MNHN. He has written numerous publications and books on biodiversity, mineralogy and geochemistry.
