Make an explorer's notebook, full of fun activities, then venture off around the museum to see how many dinosaurs and fossils you can discover.

Listen to stories about the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs. Meet a Palaeontologist and find out what it’s like to be a real life fossil hunter.  Settle down and watch some short films and animations about dinosaurs.

In the Music Gallery Performance Space, 10.30am - 3pm

Watch a selection of animations and short films about dinosaurs.

Guess the Dinosaur Teeth                                                                   

In the Gardens Pavilion, 11am – 3.30pm

Come along to this fun family activity and see if you can match bite marks left by dinosaurs on ancient bones to teeth from different dinosaurs. 

Family session for children aged 3+

Dinosaur Talks     

In the Hands on Base, 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3.15pm                                                               

Come and listen to Dr Hone, an expert in dinosaur behaviour and evolution, talking about the behaviour of predatory dinosaurs and the evolution of the flying dinosaurs that still live with us today - birds. 

Family session for children aged 6+
