About this event

Grab your dancing shoes and head to the Horniman Gardens for our weekly series of concerts on our Edwardian bandstand. We have given our Edwardian Summer a contemporary twist and programmed a musical cabinet of curiosities bringing together musicians and influences from across the world.

This week, immerse yourself into the borderless, limit-free world of Family Atlantica.

Based in London but bringing together many different nationalities, this collective's musical voyage zigzags back and forth across the Atlantic, soaking up influences and styles from Africa and Latin America. The musical magic and unforgettable voice of Venezuelan diva Luzmira Zerpa is backed by raw highlife dance rhythms from Ghana in a tropical explosion of sing-along carnival vibrations.
