Join us for fiendish fun at our annual Halloween Fair. 

Meet creepy crawlies in the Wild Fangs cave, enjoy spooky storytelling, and delve into our amazing arts and crafts markets and fabulous food stalls.

Come dressed in your best costume and join in the Halloween happenings at the Horniman. 

Halloween Storytelling by Jumble Abode Theatre

Saturday and Sunday

11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm

It's Halloweeeeen! The most magically spooky time of the year and Pip can't wait, he's got the best ideas, most terrifying tricks and chilling treats galore, but the teeniest Jack O'Lantern in town needs your help! Join us for some interactive storytelling fun for all the family.

Pumpkin Carving Demonstration with Jessica Walker

Join expert Pumpkin Carver Jessica Walker for her top tips on how to create the most whimsical and wonderful pumpkin creations for the Halloween season. Come and watch Jessica create her renowned pumpkin sculptures and learn how you can craft your very own unique piece of pumpkin art.

Spooky Halloween Trail

£1 per entry

Follow clues in the Gardens to solve a riddle and collect your spooky gift. 

Suitable for families with children aged 3+

Wild Fangs Creepy Creatures Cave

Saturday and Sunday

10.30am-4pm

£3 per person

Meet and handle some creepy critters from the Wild Fangs collection, including Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches, Emperor Scorpions, a Chilean Rose Tarantula, Corn Snake and Giant Millipede!

Not recommended for under 3s. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Halloween Parade with Copperdollar

Join the Halloween Parade through the Gardens led by our scary skeletons and show off your costume. Just turn up and join in!

Family Art Fun: Halloween Pumpkin Headdress

Our weekly Farmers' Market has extended opening hours, selling locally sourced, locally sold vegetables, meat, bread, flowers, hot food and much more.
