Touring exhibitions

Drawing on our fascinating collections, we have developed a selection of exhibitions for hire and are looking to establish new partnerships.

Our touring exhibitions are:

  • Wycinanki – the Art of Polish Papercuts
  • Mummers, Maypoles and Milkmaids

Object in Focus

Taking inspiration from the Museum Association's Effective Collections, this programme offers museum objects on temporary loan to other institutions. The objects chosen for the project have either been in storage for a number of years or on display but with limited interpretation.

Propose an Exhibition

To propose an exhibition to the Horniman Museum, please download and complete the form below. All proposals must fulfil our exhibitions policy, which aims to show or reflect our collections as far as possible. We recommend that you visit the Horniman Museum prior to sending in your proposal.
