THE CUE BUILDING

CUE building. Photo courtesy of Camera Press / James Veysey The Centre for Understanding the Environment (CUE) was opened in 1996. The building is a uniquely constructed ecologically friendly building in the Gardens next to the Museum entrance. It incorporates advanced ecological design features and used materials, which aspired to be renewable, reusable, energy efficient, locally produced, durable and healthy.

It now houses the Horniman Library. You can find more information on the original CUE in our Library & Archive collections.
