By train
The Museum is sign posted from Forest Hill station takes around five to ten minutes to walk.
Forest Hill station is well served by trains from Central London, Croydon and Surrey. Direct train services run from London Bridge (approx every ten minutes, journey time 13 minutes) linking with the Northern and Jubilee lines, London Victoria linking with the Victoria, Circle and District lines, New Cross Gate linking with the East London line (please note that a replacement bus service is currently operating on this route), East Croydon, West Croydon, Sutton, Purley and Caterham.

By bicycle
There are bicycle racks outside the Museum near the main entrance on London Road.
By car
Limited free parking available in surrounding streets. A pay & display car park is also available locally behind Sainsbury's (see map ). Please do not park on private roads. For coaches, there is a drop off point outside the Museum near to the Clock Tower.
