            "value": "Moog Music was founded in 1954 by Robert A. Moog as R.A. Moog Co, and became Moog Music in 1971. The company is famous as a producer of electronic synthesisers and theramins. The company changed hands several times during the 1970s and 80s. Robert Moog left the firm in 1977 when it was owned by Norlin, and set up a company called Big Briar. Moog Music was sold for the last time and ceased operation in 1993.\n\nThe firm currently trading as Moog Music is not related to the original company. It was known as Big Briar until 2002, when it's owner Robert Moog obtained the rights to the name."
