Schl\u00fcter, and sold natural history specimens to museums and private collectors all around the world. Schl\u00fcter had links with many ornithologists, and sold specimens collected by Herbert and Bruno Geisler (Australia and New Guinea), Gustav Schrader (Near East), and Carl Platen (China). From 1924 the firm was known as Dr Schl\u00fcter & Dr Mass."
