Free reed horn. A tusk of ivory with the tip removed. The inside edge of the curve of the tusk has also been flattened on the lateral plane, although it continues to follow the convex shape of the curve. A small rectangular brass plate is inlaid midway down this inside surface. It forms the frame for a brass free reed. A band of carved decoration encircles the tusk in line with the metal plate, representing a row of petals pointing towards the open end, with foliage designs below. A lateral hole, possibly for a carrying strap, is positioned on the inside of the curve near the narrow end.
