Pellet bell for a donkey. The bronze bell is cast as a slightly flattened sphere divided into two segments, with a slit at the base. The bell is decorated with the 'kīrtimukha' or 'face of glory' protective motif. The upper segment has some scrolling cast decoration and is set with a pierced square lug with a cloth carrying strap.
