Big Band on the Bandstand

The renowned South London Jazz Orchestra have graced stages at Pizza Express Live, Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club and the 11th mile of the London Marathon.

Join us for an unforgettable sunset performance of big band favourites set against the stunning backdrop of the London skyline. With delicious street food and chilled drinks available, bring your friends and family for a relaxed summer evening.

Food and drink

• Lucknow 2 London will offer Indian cuisine with a British twist and Route 66 will be serving up their authentic South Californian burritos.
• The Colicci Kiosk will have sandwiches, snacks and a wide selection of hot and cold soft drinks.
• A bar serving chilled beer, wines and spirits will be open through the evening.
• Please note that Sarrasin Crepes & Galettes will no longer be available at the event.

Seating

• Please note most seating is either on grass or paved ground.
• We recommend bringing picnic blankets and cushions.
• Camping chairs are welcome towards the rear of bandstand terrace to ensure a great view for all.
• Some chairs and benches will be available with a number reserved for those with access needs. Do get in touch if you have any additional needs and we can accommodate.

Weather

• This is an outdoor, unsheltered event and will take place rain or shine.
• Please come dressed suitably for the weather and the change in temperature as the sun sets.

Children

• Although younger children are welcome, this event is aimed at adults and young people and there will not be additional activities for children.

Dogs

• Well-behaved dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Tickets

• We cannot offer refunds for this event.
• Filming and photography will be taking place at this event.
• Bag searches will be in place; any alcohol or glass will be confiscated. A licensed bar will be open during the event.
