About this event

Join lively sessions for Under 5s and their carers.

Activities change every week, with creative play, enchanting stories from around the world, simple art and craft, songs, outdoor play and a whole lot of Horniman fun, created with very young children and their carers in mind.

Outdoor play sessions are usually run once a month between April and July, and in September.

Art and craft sessions usually run once a month between October and March.

Dates for Muddy Bees: 26 June, 10 July and 26 September

Muddy Bees (previously known as Mud Kitchen) is our outdoor play session and is run as a drop in.  Children and adults are encouraged to get as messy as they like - exploring and experimenting with earth and water; playing with old pots and pans; and collecting natural objects to decorate their amazing mud pie creations.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and it is advised that they are dressed appropriately for this activity.
