Enjoy fiendish fun at our Halloween Fair.

Meet creepy crawlies, hear spooky storytelling, and browse for gifts and treats at our arts and crafts markets and food stalls.

Come dressed in your best costume! 

Hansel and Gretel Halloween Storytelling Performances by Sandal Stick Theatre

Saturday and Sunday

11.00am, 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm 

Hands on Base

£5 Child, £1 Adult (max two adults per child)

Come along for some special storytelling by Sandal Sticks Theatre accompanied by song and playful puppetry. Based on the fairy tale classic, hear the story of Hansel and Gretel and their adventures through the deep, dark forest. Advance booking recommended.

Halloween Parade with Copperdollar

12.30pm and 2.30pm

Free

Join the Halloween Parade through the Gardens led by our scary skeletons and show off your costume.

Wild Fangs Creepy Creatures Cave

Saturday and Sunday

10.30am - 1.00pm, 2.00pm - 4.00pm

Pavillion

£3 per person

Meet and handle some creepy critters from the Wild Fangs collection, including Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches, Emperor Scorpions, a Chilean Rose Tarantula, Corn Snake, and Giant Millipede!

Not recommended for under 3s. All children must be accompanied by an adult

Make and Take: Halloween Lantern Workshop

Education Centre

Get ready for Halloween by making your own spooky lantern for your window or your porch to greet trick-or-treaters.

Spooky Halloween Trail

£1 per quiz sheet from the Spooky Desk outside the main entrance

Follow clues in the Gardens to solve a riddle and collect your spooky gift. Suitable for families with children aged 3+

Our weekly Farmers' Market has extended opening hours, selling locally sourced, locally sold vegetables, meat, bread, flowers, hot food and much more.
