            "value": "A long, thin raffia textile with a cutwork pattern.   Both the ground and applied embroidery is made of raffia.  The ground weave is an extended tabby (?) and has been cut and overstitched producing diamond\ncutwork shapes.  The entire cloth, save for the selvedges has been embroidered with cut pile raffia.  One selvedge has areas of cut pile raffia attached to it.  (The piece is, in fact,  made in two unevenly sized sections.)"
