Cap embroidered with silk and gold thread; motifs include flowers and a peacock and various animals. Embellished with a metal ornament in the shape of a flower with a green stone mounted at the centre. On top of the hat is another metal finial embellishment, gold-coloured. May have been worn by Shan people who paid tribute to Yunnan.
