Fine-toothed comb formed of a gently curved wooden handle into which are set a slightly splayed row of finely carved pointed wooden teeth, with a flat dark wooden slat, a curve carved into the lower part, at each end. The teeth are bound to one another across the upper half of their lengths by black fibre which is so interwoven to form patterning. In addition a small length of woden rod runs along each side where the teeth emerge from the twined section, extending over each of the slats and attached to the handle by natural beige-coloured twine at each end.
