The light brown rubbed design divides the tapa into squares using narrow bands and stripes decorated with triangular and diamond patterns. Each square is subdivided by a central X-shaped motif. 2 triangles contain chevron pattern. The other 2 contain reciprocal dentate bands. The glossy dark brown pattern follows the outlines of the background pattern, and creates additional triangular motifs within the squares. These roughly half each chevron-patterned triangle.",
