Square textile consisting of a front of multicoloured, tabbby-woven cotton appliqué, and a back of cream-coloured cotton. The decoration consists of a centre panel surrounded by 2 borders. The panel contains geometric patterns in yellow and 2 shades of blue, outlined in white, on a red ground. The inner border contains red-bordered medallions with white Arabic script on a blue ground. It is framed by the lighter shade of blue. The outer border consists of triangles and diamonds in the blues. These are surrounded by curvilinear white lines creating linked diamond and lozenge outlines, again on a red ground. The whole textile is edged with a band of yellow.
