The Gardens are open for Horniman Plant Fair ticket holders only on Saturday (21 June). Visitors to the Museum must enter and exit via London Road.
amangqasgeka (sing. Ingqashela), pair of anklets made in 1970. Worn by young men (abafana), girls who consort with them (iintombe zabafana) and by young married women (abafazana) to feasts. Edged with strips of goatskin - amathwathwa (sing. Ithwathwa). Hooks and eyes - amahakisi. Bead colours: white-mhlope, bark blue-unyembe, turquoise-ihobe. Motifs-imihobiso.
