The horn is buffalo and the beads are threaded on cow's neck ligament. The wife has made beads bought from Maralal threaded on sinew. They are used by men and given to sons when they grow elder. tobacco only smoked by elders. they must share it out when they gather, as for stuff put from left hand into left hand. if asked for some tobacco they must give it. these were manufactured in Nontoto."
