            "value": "A single-membrane drum, the shell formed from a single plank of wood bent to a circle and secured by a pair of large flat iron nails: the head of brown skin, secured by large wooden pegs in the shell, the hair remaining on the sides: undecorated: a singly jingle of two metal plates in the shell. A section of wood broken from the edge of the shell: rather dirty: otherwise sound. Diameter \u2013 c39cm (max)."

            "value": "Single membrane frame drum. Frame made from a single strip of wood, formed into a circle with the ends overlapping and secured by two metal pins. Goat skin membrane covers approximately one half of the outer surface of the frame, and hair is still visible on the surface overlapping the frame. Membrane is neck-laced with a concealed cord hoop. This is folded into the edge of the membrane, which is then nailed to the rim with a row of straight wooden pegs. A pair of flat jingles is secured in a rectangular hole in the frame by a narrow metal pin."
