                    "transcription": "'Burmese Palm-Leaf MSS - Pali Texts.  The material used is made from the Talipot Palm; the leaf being split into strips 18\" long and 2 1\/2\" broad. Writing is done using a stylus, and the leaves of the MS are frequently oiled to darken the lettering. The edges of the leaves are usually gilt, and the whole fastened together by drilling a hole at one end through which a bamboo pin is passed.' Label in box - could refer to all or any objects.
