            "value": "Cream-coloured silk Maltese lace collar worked in 2 sections which are stitched together. One section  consists of 3 circular motifs containing the Maltese cross on a ground consisting of 6-petalled pattern. The outer section of the textile consists of  circular motifs  alternately containing floral motifs and Maltese crosses. This creates a scalloped edge with picot detailing. The inner edge is badly damaged. On one end the lace has been stitched together to create a fold on the back. On the opposite end a metal hook has been sewn on."
