            "value": "A donkey's rump band made from panels of embroidered felt and numerous attached lengths of wool wrapped tightly in cotton.  The band itself is made in four main sections.  Across the horse's rump is a rectangular piece of felt decorated with a brown and white embroidered continuous undulating line.  Attached to this are four smaller felt pieces, two with an 'S' shaped and two with a double hook shaped motif.  There are large gaps between each section.  Two further bands hang below, decorated in similar fashion.  All are piped with a yellow and blue braid (tablet woven?).  The lowest band has a triangular shaped top.  Each section is lined with a multi-coloured twill woven striped fabric.  Numerous twisted woollen lengths are tightly wrapped with short lengths of cotton fabric sewn together to form a tube.   (At the back are two tabby woven silk lengths with an applied braid around the four sides.)  Brown horsehair finishes each length.
