FACE: Natural ivory field, divided into two squares, each containing four spirals in black, edged with red, and a central roundel; surrounded by guard stripes of red and maroon, enclosing dots; an outer border of brown. REVERSE: Natural ivory field, overlaid with irregular lattice of red, dark blue and black stripes, and random dots in similar colours; enclosed by red stripe; outer border of brown. The two ends of the felt are folded round ropes suspended from the lattice wall of the tent, upper face showing. This felt was a family heirloom, among the last traditional cradle felts to be made.
