The decoration on the front of the textile consists of a centre panel and 2 borders in yellow, orange, red, purple and green wool applied to the surface. The centre panel is decorated with overlapping star and lozenge motifs. Their outlines and the ones framing each border consist of dotted lines with 3 solid colour stripes either side. Inside the shapes, as well as surrounding them are smaller floral and petal motifs. The innner border consists of a floral chain  with half circular motifs either side. The outer border consists of a zigzag line."
