Curvilinear border incorporating butterflies on 3 sides. Two peonies in Pekin knot surrounded by couched metal-wrapped thread and satin stitched leaves. Surrounded by two containers with rocks, a vase, a Ruyi sceptre, as well as books, scrolls, a rhinoceros horn cup (?), and a lozenge ( possilby representing art?). The curvilinear border is embroidered in couched metal-wrapped thread. The butterflies are done in satin stitch."
