Each repeat contains 2 motifs (one longer, one shorter). The longer of the 2 motifs consists of 3 sections. Both have tassel-like extensions, and S- and V-shape components. The 'tassels' in the shorter one are a negative image (white instead of black) of the ones in the longer one. The repeats create 7 full-width stripes, and 2 part-width stripe along  both selvedges."
