The inner pinker stripes are separated from the outer, greener stripes by dotted cream lines. The ikat decoration consists of paired sets of 3 short lines. A diagonal dotted line in ikat joins alternating ones. At top and bottom end of these stripes are horizontal bands of dots in white ikat. A different tabby-woven textile has been sewn on at the top of the skirt forming a waist band. This is decorated with stripes of varying width. The wider purple stripe is bisected by a thin white stripe. It alternates with narrower pink or white stripes, framed with dotted white lines. Top and bottom of the skirtcloth have been hemmed.",

The plain, coloured stripes vary in colouring due to the weft being constructed from pink and green silk fibres which are lightly twisted together.The outer stripes are framed by dotted cream lines. The ikat decoration consists of paired sets of 3 short lines. An undulating, dotted line joins alternating ones. At top and bottom end of these stripes are dotted bands.
