Rug or seat mat; rectangular, pile-woven, woollen weft on white cotton warp. Motif : five diamonds in dark red and white with a central cross composed of five squares – red and white inside a black outline; in a stepped square, inside a dark-red border with white circles with red crosses. The diamonds are surrounded by white triangles with dark red and brown ram’s horns around the borders; the latter consist of three bands in dark red, dark brown and black rhomboids; the ends consist of a section in flat weave and white cotton fringes. This is a copy of a specimen in the Republic of Karakalpak Museum, Nukus.
