Long, narrow, weft-faced hair ribbon of a type woven and worn in many Guatemalan villages, all following the same style. The central field is plain, weft-faced red, and for a considerable length each end the technique changes to little designs of human, animal, and bird forms woven in tapestry technique. Strong primary colours are used, and the ends terminate with a firm, oblong pom-pom, from which long tassels hang. Older than other two and not in good condition.
