Slide section, soprano trombone, with retaining device comprising a string passed through holes in the outer and inner slide braces to prevent the outer slide from falling off while playing in extended slide positions (appears to be original and not a later adaptation). Silverplate, ferrules deeply embossed with floral and foliate pattern. Water key. Inner slide in good condition, with stockings.
