            "value": "Puberty cover made from a basket pouch covered in a string beaded design and with a fringe of coins. The pouch itself has been woven into a rounded, right-angled pyramid shape, with an open base and has a thin interior lining of cloth just under the rim. The beaded decoration covers the front of the object, and consists of a repeated pattern of coloured stripes in the order of: yellow, red, white with blue lines and black. Across the middle of this design, sewn onto the basketwork at the top and bottom, is a loose vertical, double string of black beads, with a larger pink bead in the middle. A brown button is present at the top, where the black string is sewn into, with four loose strings of beads tied from it and left to dangle. These consist of two strings of black beads, a sting of white with blue lines, and a sting of alternating red and yellow beads. The fringe of coins surround the entire cover, and are attached to the pouch via loops of stringed beads in red, yellow and white with blue lines. The coins themselves are from East Africa and have dates ranging from 1923 to 1959."
