            "value": "This bracelet carries significant meaning for the communities of Far North Queensland (FNQ). Specifically made out of recycled materials, it reflects the current environmental issues involving rubbish that are affecting communities living in this region of Australia, and the growing popularity of utilising recycled materials in a variety of art and craft mediums. This growth can be attributed to an increase in, not only domestic waste, but also waste that has washed up on the many beaches along the coast of the region.\n\nBy using plastic rubbish as a material for weaving, the rubbish, something that is often thought of as having no value, is weaved together to create something of value. It represents, then, not only the environmental issues occurring in FNQ, but also the stories of the people who made them, the friendships created through coming together to weave, and the sense of empowerment that occurs in the making of the bracelet."
