Boatwoman marionette with a hollow earthenware head, forearms and legs. The puppet wears a white cloth vest with red bead fastenings, and a light blue plain cloth tunic fastened at the right side. She also wears black cloth trousers with a red waistband and stripe along the bottom edge, decorated with smocking at the front. The left hand is missing, and the right has been badly damaged.

Collected by the donor's aunt, who was a medical missionary in China for over fifty years.
