            "value": "Sword, dah, most probably from Assam. The straight single edge blade is forged using iron from two different sources and of two different colours into a pattern welded 'hairpin' design, which has been etched for effect. Such blades are also very familiar from swords which come from Tibet (see LaRocca 2006). The thin disc-shaped guard, the woven bamboo covered grip, and the wooden pommel all suggest a sword whose primary purpose is utility rather than fighting, and it may principally have been used in cutting vegetation. It retains its original wooden scabbard with woven bamboo sling."
