            "value": "Textile tool consisting of a green round pillow showing process of making lace. Made from a round wooden bat which has been padded and covered with twill-woven textile. This is held in place by a painted textile ribbon. The ribbon is attached with pins covered in the same fabric. A paper lace pattern with some worked lace is attached with pins. 10 lace bobbins hold the threads of  the worked lace. 14 further lace bobbins are detached. Some of the bobbins have coloured beads on metal wire loops threaded through at one end ( some detached). Other are decorated with wood or metal inlay, as well as turned groves."
