Recorded by Langwill (Index 107) as the work of John Just Schuchart (d. 1759), but clearly distinguishable from that of other members of this family. First half of the 18th century. Clean generally; re-lap middle and upper joints. Re-pad key. Length overall: 604 mm; length s. to f.: 560 mm; Bore \u2013 at head joint: 18 mm, at foot joint: 13 mm; at foot: 14 mm, at middle joint: 15 mm. Foot joint made in two sections, the lower is cylindrical and slots into the round full block for the key. Each joint stamped: SCHUCHART. Endcap decorated with concentric circle designs on the top face.",
