Almost square sample of multicoloured silk and cotton ikat. The textile is seemingly from a larger cloth with a single green selvedge. The alternating plain red and patterned ikat stripes are separated by plain yellow stripes. The ikat stripes in red, green and white are framed by thin black and yellow dotted stripes. The pattern is achieved by using a cream cotton weft, and a coloured silk warp. The sample and a small cream exhibition label with typed text are displayed between a perspex front and a cream paper back. They are secured with masking tape around the edges.
