Pipe rest carved from hard wood, perhaps from the zelkova tree. In the form of an old bearded man with his mouth wide open and arms above his head. Seems to be wearing a straw skirt. Hollow knees. A white button on the jacket above his belt, made from a bead, below space for another (missing). The pipe rests in grooves on the back.
