            "value": "Long narrow sample of cream-coloured barkcloth painted with red and black patterns on one side. The textile is sewn together from 3 pieces. It appears to have been part of a larger loincloth as it is cut\/torn at one shorter end (see accompanying documentation). At the opposite shorter end is a red and pink border which is divided into 2. One half contains stripes, the other a grid pattern. The main part of the textile is decorated with 2 different sets of bands. One consists of thin red lines against the cream ground. The other one consists of 3 wider bands. The middle one is cross-hatched, and framed by 2 containing linked lozenge motifs in pink against a black cross-hatched ground."
