It is a straw made from reeds and raffia, used by the luhya traditionals in kenya to sip beer called busaa<\/span>. Busaa<\/span> is a traditional beer made from fermented roasted grain names ‘tsimbare’<\/span> and luhyas traditional yeast called ‘mamela’<\/span>.<\/p>It was mostly taken by men, during ceremonies after a brief introduction and eating, the men were directed to a hut or under a tree where a cig pot and the ‘busaa’<\/span> was would be put and they would drink from the same pot using the reed straws called ‘lusekhe’<\/span>. Drinking from the same pot symbolized that the men trusted each other. Circumstances of its collection is not clearly stated . it should be taken care of by putting it away from moist places. Should be kept in a cool dry place.<\/p>"
