The correct larger bag which is 6.154, is in 3\/0;8;F. AMILLS, RKU Jan 2012\n2. This object was given the number 6.154 but this has been identified by Andy Mills as incorrect. This object has then been given an nn number. It is still marked with the number 6.154. Russell, Naomi; 2014-03-24.\n3. nn19574 is 6.154. Misidentified by Andy Mills during the Oceania Review project in 2012. See notes from Heather Donaghue below. Crowley, Tom; 2014-11-13.\n4. On Heather Donaghue's research visit (12-13 November 2014) it became apparrent that the bag originally labeled 6.154 (now nn19574) is, as originally assumed, 6.154. The evidence came from a near identical example from the Cooke Daniels expedition in the British Museum's collection (Oc1906,1013.308). The BM bag has exactly the same provenance as attributed to 6.154 in the register, so this is pretty conclusive.\n\nHeather said the following in her email concerning the bags: \"I think I've solved the bag mystery - for reference, I've attached a photo of the BM bag (Oc1906,1013.308) that looks just like the smaller of the two bags (nn19574) we saw today. This is provenance to Boioa by an official 'Daniels Ethnographical Expedition' label (confusingly Boioa no longer appears on modern maps; it is usually mentioned in association with the Trobriands).\"\n\nOf the larger bag currently masquerading as 6.154 (nn14064) she had the following to say: \"Based on the register entry, 6.154 is the smaller bag from Boioa. I guess the Cooke Daniels association with the larger bag meant it got mistaken for 6.154 at some stage in the past? I suspect the bag was donated separately by Seligman (rather than Seligman on behalf of Cooke Daniels) - hence his name on the label and its absence from the official Cooke Daniels materials (perhaps it was not accessioned at all?). The bag is clearly associated with the expedition but appears to be a Seligman object. \""
