Hand-written letter sent to Diana Poulton by Cecile Dolmetsch, 1987

Hand-written letter to Diana Poulton from Cecile Dolmetsch dated 26 February 1987. The letter discusses the attached photograph, dating it to the mid-1930s. In the letter, Cecile confirms that it was used in an article by Robert Donington and on the frontispiece to the early Dolmetsch workshop catalogues produced by Cecile's husband Leslie. According to the letter, Cecile sent the photograph to Diana for inclusion in her book, Cecile closes the letter mentioning that she had been in contact with John Guthrie after his recent operation.
