            "value": "Fossils are the remains or impression of dead animals or plants which have been preserved naturally in rock.  Some brachiopod species still exist today.  Brachiopods are \"arm-footed\" creatures that look like molluscs and live on the sea-bed.  They have tow shells and may have a whole at one end for a stalk.  The brachiopod often uses the stalk to attatch itself to hard surfaces.  Today there are about 250 known species of Brachiopods, however about 30,000 fossil species have been discovered. \n \nIn China certain types of brachiopods are used to treat many illnesses such as rheumatism, cataracts, anaemia and digestive problems."
